"What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs."
— Unknown
My family and I frequently refer to each other as dogs. Papa dog, Momma dog, Joe dog, etc...
We don't do this because either of us resemble the normal negative connotation that comes with
calling someone a dog. Instead we do this because a dog is a loving and social animal. If you
really look at how a dog pack functions in the wild and then look at my family, you will see
that we are in fact a pack of dogs. Yes, we know how to get a little wild every now and then.
More importantly though, everybody knows that the only way to survive is by everyone doing
their part. They help each other, care for each other's young, and take care of their sick and
elderly. They will even bring back food from the hunt for the ones that couldn't go.
